The Surroundings
Sóller is a valley surrounded by the Serra de Tramuntana (awarded World Heritage Status by UNESCO since 2011), where many hiking routes for mountain fans start.
It is a little town full of history radiated by its narrow cobblestone streets, its grand houses, and buildings in the architectural style of Gaudí – such as the church and the bank. It also boasts a picturesque tram from the beginning of the 20th century, which connects the town with its harbour, and the station of the iconic train running between Sóller and Palma.
An interesting route – for purposes of seeing culture or spending leisure – starts directly at leaving the establishment.
